The upcoming POCO XT6 5G is creating buzz ahead of its official launch, expected to debut as POCO’s next big value-packed mid-range smartphone. According to leaks, the XT6 will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of around 1800 nits, and HDR10+ support, promising rich colors, deep contrast, and smooth visuals for gamers and binge-watchers alike. The device is expected to feature a flat-edge frame with a bold POCO camera module design, available in vibrant finishes like Cobalt Blue and Phantom Black.
Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Ensures Smooth All-Round Performance
Under the hood, the POCO XT6 will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process. Known for striking a perfect balance between performance and efficiency, this SoC should deliver reliable gaming, multitasking, and heat management. It may come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2/3.1 storage, ensuring fluid performance for demanding users.
64MP OIS Camera with Enhanced Night Photography
POCO XT6 is expected to house a 64MP main rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper, blur-free images and improved low-light performance. Accompanying it could be an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera placed in a centered punch-hole will handle selfies and video calls with good detail and natural tones.
5000mAh Battery and 67W Turbo Charging
The phone is rumored to include a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, allowing a 0–100% top-up in under 50 minutes. POCO may also include battery health optimizations in MIUI (based on Android 14), along with gaming tools, memory extension, and performance profiles.
POCO XT6 5G Launch Timeline and Expected Pricing
The POCO XT6 5G is expected to launch in Q3 2025, likely priced between ₹17,000 and ₹19,000 in India, making it a strong rival to phones like the Realme Narzo 70 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and iQOO Z9. With an AMOLED screen, OIS camera, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, the XT6 is shaping up to be a serious mid-range disruptor.
