Motorola is getting ready to launch the Moto G56 5G, a successor to the G54 and G73 series that dominated the affordable 5G space. Set to arrive in late 2025, the G56 5G is expected to offer a clean Android experience, a smooth high-refresh-rate display, a capable Snapdragon chipset, and reliable battery life—all priced under ₹13,000. The phone is designed for everyday users who want modern connectivity and good performance without overpaying for gimmicks.
6.6-Inch FHD+ LCD Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate
The Moto G56 5G will likely feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, delivering fluid scrolling and better touch responsiveness, especially in gaming and app navigation. Though not AMOLED, the LCD panel will offer good color accuracy and brightness for casual multimedia use and social media browsing.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with RAM Boost Technology
Motorola is expected to power the G56 5G with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a reliable 5G-ready processor built on a 6nm process, ensuring balanced performance and power efficiency. Paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable via microSD card, the phone will easily handle multitasking, video streaming, and everyday usage. It will run on Android 14 with Motorola’s Hello UI, offering a clean, ad-free, and bloat-free experience close to stock Android.
Dual Rear Camera with 50MP AI Main Sensor
The G56 5G is expected to include a 50MP primary camera with AI scene detection, supported by a 2MP depth or macro sensor. It will offer modes like Night Vision, Portrait Mode, HDR, and 1080p video recording. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera will sit in a punch-hole cutout and support facial retouching and FHD video.
5000mAh Battery with 18W Fast Charging
Motorola will likely equip the device with a 5,000mAh battery, offering up to two days of mixed-use battery life on a single charge. It will support 18W fast charging via USB Type-C, which is more than sufficient for this segment. The device will also feature Moto’s intelligent charging features to prevent overnight overcharging and heat buildup.
Moto G56 5G Expected Price and Availability in India
The Moto G56 5G is expected to launch in Q4 2025, with an estimated starting price of ₹11,499 to ₹12,499, making it one of the most affordable Snapdragon-powered 5G phones in India. Expected colors include Ink Blue, Arctic Silver, and Forest Green, with a lightweight polycarbonate build and IP52 splash resistance.
